"What started out as a hobby, has turned into a passion for designing and creating these beautiful handcrafted boxes." Born and Raised in New Orleans.

I have worked in various different fields over the years. To name a few: Meter Reader, Line Cook, Able Bodied Seaman, Oil Spill Responder, Shipchandler, & Warehouse Manager.
I have always been mechanically inclined and fixing/designing things has come easy to me. In November 2001 I got laid off from a warehouse manager position, and started refining my woodworking skills. I am a self-taught woodworker, and most of my knowledge comes from books and trial & error.

My first real project was a long 6ft swing (Pictured above) for my Parents as a gift from Me and my Siblings for Christmas. Soon after, I built a router table for my workshop. This definitely helped with the next project, which was a small replica of the large swing for my daughter. I also designed and built some swinging doors for a local restaurant. Numerous other projects followed.
When I purchased a professional size bandsaw, I started looking for new projects to tackle. I had read a couple of articles about bandsawn boxes and cut a couple of small ones. The first one I made (pictured right) was made out of 2 pieces of scrap 2 x 4.
I stained the body dark and left the drawers natural pine.
Through much trial and error I have learned new techniques for cutting my boxes, and have learned how to give them a beautiful hand-rubbed finish. The result is a beautiful, pleasing to the eye, quality work of art that just happens to be useful.

I am constantly working on new designs for my boxes.
Every new design seems to lead me to additional designs.
Each box is a unique, one of a kind, work of art. No two are exactly alike. I sign and date my work, and take great pride in my craftmanship.
